The Dare That Bites

Jane Horner’s deepest regret is becoming involved with Sean Young, her fiancé’s unfaithful brother, as part of her plan for revenge. Initially, her intention is to provoke James Young and then leave, but as she attempts to escape, Sean inexplicably draws closer. It’s later observed that Sean, the man rumored to be unruly, stands in the rain on a stormy night, half of his body drenched, while holding an umbrella for someone else.
